Orientation: Day 1

Today's orientation went well. My academic advisor is the head of the applied math program, which should help. She also offered to give me a reading course in fluids next semester (the physics topic, for those of you who needed a hand slap just now--i.e., most of you). The tuition wavier even went through. There were a couple of snags, though.
  1. People from the office I get this year have not turned in their keys. I need to get the key tomorrow.
  2. After registration, the line to get ID cards was extremely long. That will have to wait for tomorrow.
  3. I still need to pick up my parking permit.
  4. I still need to pay the mandatory fee.

And, I may have agreed to some sort of dancing thing. I'm not sure how, but it may pay off for something.

Oh...wow. Image of Josh doing a Rockettes number in a Vegas showgirl outfit. That's...special...

Ballroom dancing, a formal dance, clubbing, or what?
